BRINGING THE ANCIENT ART OF EQUESTRIAN TRAINING INTO THE PRESENT DAY
Testimonial from Miriam Gillingham
Hi Eleena,
I just wanted to thank you for the lesson you gave me on Delta on Sunday.
It took me a couple of days to digest it, but when I rode Sparkie yesterday I (and he) noticed a big difference. Afterward I wanted to tell everyone I had the greatest horse in the world, but that’s just silly. I felt as though I had been untangled, and found myself doing less where I had been doing too much, and doing more where I had not been doing enough.
Turning about the forehand at walk and trot were really good and we even gave it a good attempt at the canter too. I didn’t find myself getting stuck in the pirouettes once. And half pass in walk and trot went much more smoothly, we even did a little in the canter. What you said about counter canter seemed so simple and when I gave it a go it turned out it was!
Again I had to do less. And I found our transitions between collection and lengthening were much smoother, I could feel where he or I became braced and lost it and was able to correct it.
In short the instruction and visualizations you gave me enabled me to ride with a softer and more independent position realizing my horses balance and suppleness. Lets hope I can maintain it now!
Thank you again,
Miriam & Sparkie
